Prior to teaching at CHS, I served as a 4-H Program Representative for UCCE, and worked with the Arkansas Cattlemen's Association post-college. Since 2021?, I had had the privilege of teaching here at CHS while assisting with my family's small cow/calf operation. I am thrilled that recently 22 out of 26 students achieved their Tier 1 Floral Certification after dedicating 2-3 years to floral design. Holding a CTE Certificate in Agriculture, my academic background includes an A.S. in Agricultural Science along with a B.S. in Animal Science and Agriculture Communication. It’s an honor to be part of the faculty at Calaveras High School, situated in a rural county where our special focus on agricultural pathways reflects the local job landscape, preparing students for careers in agriculture, business, and education.

I hold an American Degree from National FFA, along with a B.S. in Agriculture and a Single Subject Agriculture Credential from CSU, Chico. Before CHS, I gained hands-on experience in food production at Pacific Coast Producers and honed my skills with irrigation systems at Weathermatic Inc. Now teaching at my Alma Mater, I'm proud of my students, especially those in our Crop Production Pathway, for their dedication to our school farm. At CHS, I value our tight-knit rural community and campus culture, where students explore local careers through various CTE Pathways. Our program supports students in medical, trades, or agriculture industries, preparing them for success locally and beyond. It's my honor to guide each student toward success.
