Advanced Floral Design II (2020)

This course emphasizes the business and marketing aspect of running a floral shop. Students will apply the skills learned in Floral Design and Advanced Floral Design I to develop a year-long entrepreneurship Supervised Agricultural Experience that will design, market, and sell seasonal arrangements. Students in this course will also participate in community classroom opportunities and learn firsthand from local florists. This course is designed to advance the retail design skills learned while serving in a floral internship. The individual student skills are evaluated and modified to meet the rigors of working in the industry through design projects, design evaluation, oral presentation and design projects.
